Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has taken a swipe at the Federal Government anti-corruption stance, describing it as mere noise-making, witch-hunt and diversionary tactic to hoodwink the public into overlooking the seeming failure of the government to deliver on its electoral promises.
The governor said; “If President Buhari knows exactly where the stolen funds are kept and who looted the funds, he does not need all these public announcements.

18 year old househelp kills his boss' 78 year old mother

The Nigerian Police have arrested an 18 year old boy, Hounvenou Yavine, a national of the Republic of Benin, for slitting the throat of his boss’ mother, Mrs. Mariam Abiola. According to Punch , Yavine was brought into Lagos in April 2014 by his elder sister on the request of late Mrs Abiola's daughter. He was then taken to the Ikeja home of the late 78 year old woman to serve as her househlp as well as an assistant at her alcohol distribution shop. A month after his arrival, her home was demolished by the state government, prompting her to temporarily relocate to her daughter's home at the Ijaiye Low Cost Housing Estate, Pen Cinema Lagos where his primary assignment was to take care of her and also clean her daughter's house. Lagos Govt Warns TB Joshua Not To Accept Ebola Victims In His Church The Lagos.

 The Lagos  state government has warned pastor TB Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations not to accept Ebola victims if they come to him for healing. According to The Nation officials of Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Federal Government, led by the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, visited him seeking his cooperation in ensuring victims of the deadly virus are not brought to his church for healing. Synagogue is a popular destination for sick people who go there for divine healing. “We have our strategies that we intend to share with you. Again, we need to know the resources you have here because whether it is one or two cases, if they are allowed to get out, it is a major problem.
